i’ve been meaning to wear red lipstick just because i’m i think it’s time. i was trying on lipsticks for 1 hour at selfridges until my lips were so sore because a lot of the lipsticks i tried were so drying on the lips! ( *ahem* cue M.A.C) until i reached the giorgio armani counter.
i got their sheer red lipstick in the shade 6 if any of you are interested, which is absolutely divine! the shade i got is very red but not stark in your face red so you can always wear it in the day (which i haven’t stopped doing) and it has a gloss-ish sheen to it. so really its a red lipstick + gloss combi without the icky stickiness of gloss. Giorgio armani lipsticks are great because they moisturize and its so lightweight so its easy to wear. i’m uber excited about my transition into the womanly world and its great for anyone who doesn’t want to plunge into the siren red arena just yet.
